Kelly Schumacher is an oil painting instructor for the Sacred Art Institute. Kelly's work is beautifully versed, grounded in scripture and spans through an array of art mediums. She is a speaker, writer, painter, and illustrator. In 2013, she started Agnus Dei Liturgical Arts, an art firm and dedicated to bringing back classical art that depicts biblical ecclesiology, that is narrative and realistic in style.
Kelly's latest painting below, The hymn inspiring this painting was written by Paul Gerhardt who lived from 1607-1676. Verse; "O Jesus Christ, Thy manger is my paradise at which my soul reclineth. For there, O Lord, Doth lie the Word Made flesh for us; here-in Thy grace forth shineth."
