Young Adult Series: Pentecost
Time & Location
This Sunday's Retreat Leader: Deacon Michael Bovino
"Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity."—1 Timothy 4:12
This retreat is part of a series specially crafted for young adults (ages 18-35). It is uniquely designed for young people who may not be able to invest the time or money needed to attend an overnight retreat. Instead, the Young Adult Series provides a serial respite from the frenetic quality of modern living in order to nurture a relationship with Christ—and to do so within a larger Faith community of peers who are seeking to live out the Gospel.
The program begins with registration at 11:30 am, followed by a chef-prepared, plated lunch at noon, and concludes at 4:00 pm. Ample time for small groups precedes a time of prayer in the Chapel, fostering an environment of Faith-sharing and real-world application of the presenter's remarks.
This retreat is intended for young people from all walks of life, lay and religious alike—those who are single and those who are married with children. Out of a deep respect for the vocation of marriage, we are offering a discount for engaged and married couples—along with complimentary childcare for any young mothers and fathers who would like to attend.
