"Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting." —Ralph Waldo Emerson
Enders Island is a uniquely beautiful place. Its many gardens, pathways and shrines complement an endless horizon of glistening waters. The Enders House—an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion—and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption enhance the grounds with iconic architecture and breathtaking pieces of sacred art.
Over the years, Enders Island has been abundantly blessed with the talents of several volunteer photographers, (most notably I. Bruce Levine) who have captured the beauty of this hallowed ground in a manner which profoundly communicates the presence of God. Below, we have selected some of the very best of this photography—along with works of sacred art produced by instructors who have taught in our Sacred Art Institute.
