Bereavement Retreats

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

A Bereavement Retreat is a unique opportunity to share the experience of bereavement, grief, and mourning with others who are going through a similar experience under the guidance and wisdom of a Spiritual Director. Each retreat is designed with ample opportunity for both sharing and teaching, providing retreatants the chance to reflect on the reality of death and the phenomenology of loss, the complexity of bereavement, and an in-depth consideration of the human response - both internally and externally.

Doubts, fears, uncertainties, worries, and questions are welcome, and all are considered pertinent to the group’s quest. Evenings will be left open for personal pursuits, one-on-one conversations, or consultations. If you or a loved one is struggling, we highly recommend that you attend.
